Dark Navy Shawl -- Handwoven of hand-dyed Japanese reeled silk
This dark navy shawl is woven of high quality Japanese reeled silk, which is made by spinning the long filaments of silk that come directly from the cocoon. With indigo as a base color, the accent colors, dyed in ten different pigments using cochineal and other natural materials, were inserted manually during the weaving process.
Size: 65 1/2 x 19 inches plus 2 1/2 inch fringe
Material: Japanese reeled silk
Dyes: Indigo base. 10 natural dyes used.
